These three dogs make up a Christmas present for someone dear to me.
I didn't have as much time as I'd have wanted making these pictures. This one especially had me cramped for time. It's lopsided in a few places and the shading is a bit shady, but it's my favourite nonetheless, if only for his worried look.
I aimed for specific dog breeds in all three pictures. I can't remember having tried that before. The result, however, is that only one is actually recognisable. This is supposed to be a Norwegian Elkhound. In proper colour you might be able to tell...

As you mentioned, the shading needs more work, the bottom half looks quite flat. You have done a very good job on the rest of it though, and I love that monocle
they look so humany, I can imagine their masters (or prototypes if you drew them from the old photos )
