These three dogs make up a Christmas present for someone dear to me. :meow:

I didn't have as much time as I'd have wanted making these pictures. This one especially had me cramped for time. It's lopsided in a few places and the shading is a bit shady, but it's my favourite nonetheless, if only for his worried look. :D

I aimed for specific dog breeds in all three pictures. I can't remember having tried that before. The result, however, is that only one is actually recognisable. This is supposed to be a Norwegian Elkhound. In proper colour you might be able to tell...

I have now learnt to stay away from burn and dodge.

Critique welcome, as you can tell.

Your dogs are great! This one is my favourite, I also like The One with the Moustache.

As you mentioned, the shading needs more work, the bottom half looks quite flat. You have done a very good job on the rest of it though, and I love that monocle =)

He looks so stiff and uptight! Like the worried expression is in more than just his face. It turned out very well, in my opinion.

I think this is my favorite. You just can't beat a monocle. You just can't.:giggle:
